This research attempts top robe the hypothesis that
“there is a relation between the leadership styles with
the organizational environment in the industrial com-
panies of the Loja Province”. The measuring of the lea-
dership styles was done through a survey based on the
theory of the c haracteristics of the leadership kinds
and the measuring of t he environment was made with
a questionnaire based on the Organizational environ -
ment theory of Litwin and Stringer.The questionnaires
were applied to 148 workers of 12 industrial companies
registered in the Industry Chamber of Loja. The ques-
tionnaires were subjec ted to test of validity and relia -
bility. The result s show that there is a relation between
organizationa l environment and the st yles of leadership;
the results show a significant relation (>0,3,Sig.<0.05),
among the nutritive generative leadership, the rational
leadership, the free emot ional leadership and the unma-
nageable emotional leadership, with the organizational
environment.
El estudio prueba la hipótesis de que, “existe relación
entre el liderazgo con el cl ima organizacional en las em-
presas industriales de la Provincia de Loja”. El estudio
se basó en la teoría de las “Características de los tipos
de liderazgo” y del “Clima organizacional de Litwin
y Stringer”. Se aplicaron dos a 148 trabajadores de 12
empresas industriales, registradas en la Cámara de In-
dustria de Loja. L os resultados muestran que si existe
relación entre clima organizacional y los estilos de lide-
razgo. Igualmente muestran una relación significativa
(>0, 3, Sig.<0.05), entre el liderazgo generativo nutriti vo,
liderazgo racional, liderazgo emot ivo libre y liderazgo
emotivo indócil, con el c lima organizacional.
