RESUMEN
Actualmente las empresas requieren generar un plan estratégico para dirigir y concentrar sus esfuerzos,
en todos los ámbitos, para alcanzar aquellas metas que contribuyan a que las organizaciones se sustenten
en el tiempo. En el caso de las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES), es importante que planiquen
iniciativas estratégicas relacionadas con los sistemas y las capacidades del personal docente y administra-
tivo para generar conocimiento que permita a las mismas permanecer en el tiempo. Este artículo analiza
estrategias que pueden aplicar las IES para gestionar el conocimiento y alcanzar su visión, para eso se
realiza una revisión bibliográca de la relación existente entre la planicación estratégica y el aprendizaje
organizacional como elemento de la gestión del conocimiento.

ABSTRACT
Nowadays, companies need to generate a strategic plan to direct and concentrate their eorts, in all
areas, to reach those goals that contribute to the organizations could sustain over time. In the case of
Higher Education Institutions, it is important to plan strategic initiatives, related to the systems and
capacities of teaching and administrative sta, to generate knowledge that allows them to remain in
time. is article analyzes the strategies that can be applied by Higher Education Institutions to manage
knowledge and achieve their vision. For this purpose, a bibliographic review of the relationship between
strategic planning and organizational learning as an element of knowledge management.
