Resumen
El artículo describe la estructura de un modelo didáctico de tratamiento
del contenido de biodiversidad en la enseñanza de la Biología octavo grado en
el nivel educativo Secundaria Básica y está sustentado en el paradigma
sociocrítico. El principal resultado lo constituye las relaciones dialécticas que
se establecen entre los subsistemas y componentes del modelo didáctico que
tiene naturaleza sistémica y considera no solo la representación de las
características esenciales del contenido biológico, sino también su
fundamentación, conceptualización, relaciones y derivaciones, que son
expresión de su funcionamiento metodológico como sistema y que permiten
interpretarlo, diseñarlo y ajustarlo en correspondencia con el contexto y las
relaciones teórico-metodológicas que lo sustentan. El modelo fue sometido a
evaluación por criterio de expertos en el que se evaluó como bastante
adecuado, efectivo y pertinente sus subsistemas y componentes para la
formación de la cultura ambiental del educando.

Modeling the treatment of biodiversity content in the teaching of Basic
Secondary Biology
Abstract
The article describes the structure of a didactic model for the treatment
of biodiversity content in the teaching of eighth grade Biology at the Basic
Secondary educational level and is supported by the socio-critical paradigm.
The main result is constituted by the dialectical relationships that are
established between the subsystems and components of the didactic model
that has a systemic nature and considers not only the representation of the
essential characteristics of the biological content, but also its foundation,
conceptualization, relationships and derivations, which are expression of its
methodological functioning as a system and that allow it to be interpreted,
designed and adjusted in correspondence with the context and the theoretical-
methodological relationships that sustain it. The model was subjected to
evaluation by expert criteria in which its subsystems and components were
evaluated as quite adequate, effective and relevant for the formation of the
environmental culture of the student.
